Safe & Sound...
In my anticipation for The Hunger Games, coming MARCH 23rd, AKA THIS MONTH, my title is inspired by Taylor Swift featuring The Civil Wars' song :).
My time these days is spent between listening to the audiobook of Ivanhoe (I'd read it if I had the chance. My life is currently too busy to read that book, read my Marketing book, AND write a research paper.), working on my Marketing class, and working on a research paper doubling as research for one of my novels.
Currently, Lena is on the back-burner. I'm also contemplating changing the title and so forth, which also explains the back-burner-ness. Right now, I'm working on a werewolf story :). Don't worry though, it's nothing like other werewolf novels (at least, I hope so). I've been working closely with one of my friends, a wolf enthusiast, to help me get my facts about wolves right. I'm almost 10k in, and I have this draft pretty much planned out in my head. I just hope it stays that way when I write it!
The werewolves in my story are different than other novels. Instead of intermingling with humans, and most likely falling for them, the werewolves stay out of their way and live in forests. The packs are like any wolf pack, however drama occurs in the story that you would just have to read to see :).

Currently Reading...
It's an unsettled summer
for Sirena. Back in Texas, her family's splitting apart, but here in
Rhode Island, at the cottage of her free-spirited aunt, it's a different
world. There are long days at the beach and intriguing encounters with
him. Pilot. He's the lifeguard with shamanic skills. He both saves her
and makes her feel lost at sea. Sirena explores her obsession with Pilot
and discovers his mysterious--almost magical--gifts.

The Hunger Games MANIA!
Recently, I began reading the series called The Hunger Games. Seriously, I cannot say this enough, if you haven't read it then you need to! It's such a different novel and it has such good themes throughout the entire series. I'm currently finishing up Catching Fire, and then I'll move into Mockingjay. I'm a little nervous, because my friends told me that the third book is depressing throughout, but I'll survive it :).
Since reading the first book, I've been hooked (which started a few weeks ago), and I've already made a fanvideo and wallpaper! I'll post the video now because I'm proud of it haha ^_^

Writing Tips?
So, with the previous post by me being that I'm a horrible blogger, I've come to the conclusion I need to do more with this blog. I feel like it just sits there, when it could be helping people.
So, I come with the question, what do I do?
With it being my senior year, I have an idea of what I'm going to go to major in when I get to college. English. However, with the need to have a job, I've been thinking of also going into teaching (my current English teacher is awesome, so I thought it was pretty cool when my friend said she could see me being like my English teacher) for English. So, I come with the idea...
What if I posted some writing tips?
I realize I'm not posted, and I realize I'm no expert, but I feel like I could help some people. So, if anyone's reading this, would you like this? I would do more than just grammar. I'd like to do things involving the writing process (because if I go into teaching, I'd like to teach a Creative Writing class instead of English... but I realize that'll probably never happen lol) like helping with brainstorming, maybe thinking up some prompts? Maybe I could also host weekly word sprints for people :)
Let me know, because I'd really like to know what everyone thinks!
